Absolutely worth the drive. The road from Umrangso is rough for the last 6 km but the waterfall is stunning. Go early morning for the best light and fewer people.

Beautiful in monsoon but very slippery near the rocks. Carry proper shoes. There are no shops nearby so bring your own water and snacks.

Went with family in winter. Water flow is lower but the whole gorge is visible and the picnic spot upstream is peaceful.
